Join The National Center for Civil and Human Rights to celebrate the 70th anniversary landmark decision in Brown v. Board of Education.

Award-winning journalist, Condace Pressley, will moderate a conversation between playwright, director and producer Nikki Toombs, and Gary Spencer, Senior Counsel for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

The conversation will be driven by vignettes from the theatrical performance, "Courageous Steps: Bridging the Gap for Equality," written and directed by Nikki Toombs and tells the story of the Brown v. Board decision. The vignettes set the stage for the conversation as Gary Spencer explores the legal arguments of the decision and its implications. Nikki Toombs will explain how those implications and legal arguments influenced her direction in the creation of the piece.
